A spring time cold

A spring time cold

Have you ever had a spring time cold?

The sniffles, the snots, the sneezes you hold

For me, it’s the foggy headache and the sinus pain

When caught in a pinch, it’s the shirt corner you stain

Flu season is over, so the tissues are out

Yet with kids there is never a drought

So bring on the Sudafed, the tangy Vitamin C

And pass a tissue to congested ol’ me

Me! I unfortunately have a Spring cold. I stayed home from school yesterday with my box of tissues always near. Been drinking a great deal of tea with honey to soothe my scratchy throat. So impressed that you could rhyme while not feeling well. Hope you feel better soon.

This March I am participating in the Slice of Life Challenge from Two Writing Teachers.
